I have been shooting for about 5 years. The work began as an effort to develop interests beyond my work (not photography). Much to my surprise, photography has opened a new way of seeing to me that I did not expect to find. Much has been written about “decisive moments” and capturing a moment that will never return. Though I seek those special “moments,” what I am looking for is a way to see the world that I might not have found in my other life. What I am looking for is the development of my eyes, and imagination so that my images might add to the beauty that we find in the everyday world. 
Whether I am shooting on the street, or capturing still life work in the studio, my goals are to capture these subjects through my newfound sight, creating images that people who look the result will find satisfying.
